I joined Craft & Code not long after it was formed, and was given the opportunity by one of the partners to come up with a logo design. We collaborated together on font styles, colors, and concept until settling upon a 2-color logo, black & red, with an ampersand logo mark. The ampersand style resembled more of the "craft" aspect, being more fluid and hand-drawn in nature, while the font of "code" was a more clean sans-serif; a nod to the simple fonts used in programming, but with a bolder weight.
